The rotameter is simplest form of fuild mesuring intruments .its consist of a borosilicate tapered glass tube placed vertically with its smaller dimeter at the  top to bottm.The float used in the tube is made up of heaiver non-corrosive subtance which resists the veritical flow of the fuild passing through the annular space between tube and head of flot.Here the fuild passing through the ORIFIC ,balance the weight of the flot up the metered fuild and when in enquilbirum position ,indicates the flow ofthe fulid which can be observed by an external scal fittied the side of the tube.
